It is a few days after Otakon and I have to admit I am going through withdraw from my friends and the excitement of the convention. It was so much fun talking to various different people and seeing all the amazing cosplays. I even got to see a Ranka and a few Sheryls from Macross Frontier. Dealer’s room was like heaven for me, because there were so many different things I wanted to buy, but I refrained myself and only got a few grab bags and a new manga: Alice In The Country Heart, which I already finished. I still find myself struggling to get into my normal everyday sleep schedule and my feet finally stopped hurting from all the walking. But it was all worth it.
True to its form, Otakon was the convention to stand in line for the line for the line for the panel you wanted to attend. So in short a lot of line standing, but that line standing gives you a chance to talk to people around you and make some new friends. We did many different photo shots because Baltimore is such a beautiful city that there were many different places we were able to get those amazing pictures. There were many people outside of the convention that wanted our pictures especially the little children who loved the costumes the other members of Cosplay Kitchen and I had on. It was a great convention, great time spent with friends. I cannot wait for the next convention we all attend together. We are already beginning to make plans for other group cosplays so keep an eye out for updates on future cosplays we will be working on and which conventions we will be attending next.
