Cosplay Criticisms

This is something I see a lot on fan pages through facebook and other venues.  Other people criticizing cosplays.  I am not sure how I feel about this.  I have seen people become downright rude and mean with saying things like “You are too fat for that cosplay”  or “you’re cosplay is such a fail” or just simply criticizing the cosplayer themselves for how they look.

I think if it is a constructive comment them maybe.  Something like saying “Instead of doing it this way, try this”  But I don’t think anyone’s cosplay should be shot down and degraded in anyway.  It takes a lot of courage for some people to cosplay certain characters.  I know there are some that I would be shy to do, but one day might try just to step out of my comfort zone.  If I had someone tell me I was too fat to cosplay something Sonya Blade (which I am actually thinking of cosplaying) I would be heart broken.

Wonderful transformation has cost cialis occurred in their lives but that s the fact that out of 10 males over 40 years have erectile problems. Being degrading to someone about their weight or whether or not their costume is what YOU think it should be is just wrong.  As a cosplaying community we should be encouraging each other to do different things and to take that step out our comfort zones.  We should be supporting one another not shooting each other down.  There are all levels of cosplays out there and all of them are great.  Is it really necessary to bring down someone else’s cosplay for one reason or another?  I don’t think so.

I admire anyone who makes their own costume, and those who buy their costumes as well.  There is a lot of faith and value that goes into creating a character you admire.  There is too much hate in the outside world, why bring it into the cosplay world?
